My first Broadway play was wonderful. Monica and I took the train in and walked up to Time Square. It wasn't too bad when we got there but afterward it was complete chaos because of the Superbowl celebrations. There were points after the play where we couldn't move at all so we got off Times Square and onto less populated, but still full of people, streets.
The play was at the Lyceium Theater and it was fantastic. The woman who played Janis Joplin wasn't even the one who does it the most. She only does it at the Wednesday and Saturday matinees but I can't see the other one doing better. Close your eyes and Janis is in the room. Awesome!
