It constantly amazes me how incredibly incompetent these meteorologists are and they have computers to tell them what the weather will be. Give me the good old meteorologists who looked at the clouds and sky and predicted the weather correctly. The 'blizzard' turned out to be a good old fashioned heavy snowstorm that cleared up by afternoon and the roads are now clear. Lots of snow on the sides and stuff but the roads are fine.
But I spent a nice long lazy day with Ruffio. I knit on my shawl for the Woodland games -- I still don't think it will be done by the end of the Olympics but I am working on it. Read a little bit and watched some tv. I plan on doing the same tomorrow except if it's not freezing out, I might take a walk to the cigar store.
I love being home.
Oh and my Carol Rose starts her new job tomorrow. She'll be amazing!
