Great week so far!

I'm in a knitting exchange and am on target so far. I finished knitting a little bowl and just have to felt (full) it. I'm knitting a pair of Fetching for the exchange also -- one mitt down and half of one to go! And the colors are gorgeous. I WILL remember to post pictures when I'm done. I do plan on putting a few more little knitted items into the package if I have time before it has to be mailed out.

Best of all -- got a call from Denise, my heart sister and life long friend. We haven't seen each other in nine years since we live on opposite coasts. She asked me what I was doing this weekend -- last time she asked me a question like that I had to go pick her and her daughters up at a truck stop on the Jersey turnpike. LOL!! Anyway she's between treatments and decided to come 'home' for a visit for a few days. She'll be spending Monday with me. I can't wait!

I have a massive list of patterns I want to knit -- is there enough time in the world? I will be off work for a few weeks starting September 9 because of foot surgery so I hope to get a lot done during that time.

Sammy started school today. It feels strange having a 12 year old in the house again and getting into the school routine. It's been 12 years since I had that!!

Oh and the last great thing so far this week is that we got an email at work saying Connecticut Hall will be celebrating it's grand opening tomorrow. I've gone all summer without eating there and can't wait!!

Bad blogger!

I don't remember to blog. I don't have time to do anything. Is there a way to get more hours in a day? Wish I could quit work and do other things!

I'm still knitting and reading and Elking and, of course, working. Going to Toronto next week. I'm taking my laptop, maybe I can remember to write in here then.

I've even forgotten to add to my "read in 2008 list" and there's been a bunch more books I've read. *sigh*

Maybe it's the divorce stress that's making me forget. At least that would give me an excuse.
