I packed everything up and it's ready to go and will be mailed on Monday. I forgot to put in the minis I was going to put in and I forgot the chocolate bar I'd bought but I'm not opening it up again. Well I will get them in if I have to repackage it at the post office and I have them with me. Regardless, I'm happy with the package and it will be in the mail on Monday.
Sandy and I went roaming around Seymour today and we went to the Yankee Quilter. They have classes and open sewing nights that are reasonable so hopefully I'll make it to some. We also had tea and scones at Tea with Tracy -- I love that place and then went to the General Store. Surprise! They have fiber arts night on Thursdays, I think they said. You pay $3 and go hang out with spinners and knitters, etc. I am so in love with my little Valley. This is exciting. Now all I need is time!
Peggie called and we went up to the Edmond Town Hall in Newtown to watch a movie, Parental Guidance, which was freaking awesome. Billy Crystal and Bette Middler together are phenomenal. Can't beat the price either -- $2. It was a full house but about half way through the movie we all had to get out because the fire alarm went off. It was no big deal but what really bothered me was a woman with her two little kids -- one she held in her arms and the other she held his hand. The kids were both crying and scared. It made me wonder if they were affected by the shootings. Were they family of one of the victims? There was no reason for those children to be so upset. No one was upset and we all just walked out chatting and talking. No running and no panic.
