Welcome January 1, 2020

A great start to the year. I went to 8:00 Mass at St. Mike's. Ended up receiving Communion from Sandy. It was a little awkward for me but ok. I miss hanging out with her. Just don't miss her toxicity. She was fun to be around and a good person except for that. And for wanting every Saturday of my life.

So then I bring Sam to work and stop for gas and going up the driveway I thought I totaled the car. I scraped the entire passenger side - both quarter panels and a little of the door, against the stone wall. It's ok though - very driveable. But no longer new. When I picked Sam up from work, a guy stopped me when I got out of the car. Pointed out that my back tire on the passenger side is almost completely flat. Got Sam and stopped at Midas Muffler. Guy put air in it and then showed me it's hissing out. Need to get a used tire for now but both Town Fair Tire and the place down the street are closed.

Should be interesting. Tomorrow (and Friday) I am off and now Margaret has to come to get me and drive us to her eye surgery and then drive me home. Argh!

Then Manny got pissed because I was taking stuffing off his face when he was playing with a toy and he bit me. He didn't break skin but my hand hurts like hell. He's not in good with me right now.

So the book I am reading right now is Wormwood the 17th book in Susan Wittig Albert's China Bayles series. I will try to remember to list them either like this or the old way.

I still think starting out the new year (and decade) by going to Mass was a great idea and hopefully I will continue going on Sundays and holy days.
