The generosity of people amaze me. Linda Coppola, who is the principal of St. Mary-St. Michael School, gave Anthony and Carol a massive bag full of gifts for Allena from the giving tree. For some reason she thinks we're that poor. She also gave Anthony one of the Christmas trees from the festival of trees. Carol is devastated, as am I, to think she believes we're that bad off. But the thought alone is so wonderful and kind and good.
Anthony, Allen and I took a ride up to Anthony and Karla's for an hour or so. My Anthony showed Carol's Anthony all the bows and arrows and stuff that he's made. And Allena got to play a little with Kayla. God is answering my prayers little by little. I just need for my precious daughter to melt her heart towards her brother and other people and stop judging and start loving. I believe it will happen. I do.
