I think I forgot to mention yesterday that we went to Borders at the mall and I bought an ereader. I won't be buying reading books for it, probably won't by any books myself for it. I asked Carol to get me Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day for the Koob. And it's pre-loaded with 100 classics, most of which I'll probably read on it since I haven't read them since I was a kid.
The main reason I wanted it, and it was at a good price, is for recipes and knitting patterns. I can put them in PDF files and load them on the Koob and then they're super portable. I can bring it with me instead of carrying, and losing, paper patterns or carrying a bulky book for one pattern. I think it's going to be fun. Actually since I LOVE techno stuff, I know it's going to be fun!
I went grocery shopping and bought a ton of stuff. I want to have food for the whole week so I don't have to think about what to make for supper or bring for lunch. Tonight we'll have meatloaf (I have two in the oven), broccoli, stuffed mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I had also bought a roasted chicken because it was actually cheaper than buying one and roasting it myself. So we'll have that later in the week with whatever. AND I bought the fixings to make Rachael Ray's whole wheat linguini with portabello mushroom sauce. But ours will be regular linguni.
Whoops -- timer rang. Meatloaves are done. Going to eat now!
Forgot to say that I went to physical therapy this afternoon -- Mondays and Wednesdays -- an they put me through a real workout so no Wii today.
Ate meatloaf, mashed potatoes, bread and a bunch of tiny stuffed mushrooms. Yum!
